From 4eaa68ceeb4e5b94bc3e9719562f5123ef4e256a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: npeter83 Date: Sun, 30 Aug 2026 02:14:06 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] =?UTF-8?q?feat(plex):=20S1a=20=E2=80=94=20add=20intel-med?= =?UTF-8?q?ia-va-driver=20for=20VAAPI=20transcode=20(E6)?= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The runtime image ships ffmpeg with h264_vaapi/libva2 but no VA driver, so h264_vaapi can't initialise and a Plex transcode silently falls back to libx264. Add the iHD driver (intel-media-va-driver) so the UHD 630 iGPU can hardware-encode once /dev/dri is passed into LXC 118 (host + compose side, tracked in siftlode-ops). Harmless where no render node is present. --- Dockerfile | 11 +++++++---- 1 file changed, 7 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/Dockerfile b/Dockerfile index 716bf849..5a43df66 100644 --- a/Dockerfile +++ b/Dockerfile @@ -45,12 +45,15 @@ RUN adduser --disabled-password --gecos "" appuser \ && mkdir -p /downloads \ && chown appuser /app /downloads -# ffmpeg: merge separate video+audio streams + postprocessing.
