Extend lib/queryKeys.ts to the remaining ~34 key roots and migrate every
remaining literal (queryKey: [...] AND the positional useLiveQuery keys) in
36 files. All ~200 React Query keys across the app now route through the
factory; zero raw key literals remain outside queryKeys.ts.
The heterogeneous composite plex keys (plex-library/facets/collections/
playlists carry a filters object, a ratingKeys array, or a union/group
discriminator) take a variadic pass-through — the factory centralizes the
ROOT string; single-id keys stay precisely typed. Nullable keys (thread,
playlist, ytSearch) accept null so a null segment is preserved.
Pure substitution — byte-identical key arrays, so TanStack prefix matching
is unchanged. Gate green: typecheck (app+node+e2e), eslint (0 err),
prettier, 68 vitest. Runtime-verified on a fresh dev server: Feed + Plex
modules load, feed/facets/tags/my-status/plex-library/plex-facets/
plex-collections/plex-playlists all 200, full UI renders.
Replaces the plain "Loading…" text in every R3 loading branch with a single shared LoadingState
(a spinning lucide Loader2 in the accent colour + label, centered, role=status/aria-live) — one
component so all loads read the same and can be swapped for skeletons later in one place. Applied
across Feed, Channels, ChannelDiscovery, AuditLog, NotificationsPanel, Messages, Scheduler, Stats,
PlexBrowse (grid + subviews), PlexPlaylistView, ConfigPanel, DownloadCenter, AdminUsers, ChatThread.
Left the small "load more" footer and lazy Suspense fallbacks as-is.
- Blank-flash (showed an empty state on first load before data): DownloadCenter (queue + library
tabs), AdminUsers (roles + invites), ChatThread, PlaylistsRail now show a loading indicator
(and an error+retry) instead of a false-empty flash — guarded on `&& !data` so live data isn't
disturbed on refetch.
- Forever-loading (`isLoading || !data` loops forever on a failed fetch): ConfigPanel, the three
PlexBrowse subviews (playlist/show/season), and Stats' admin dashboard get an `isError && !data`
error+retry path before the loading branch.
- Playlists' detail pane already had an error path (isError+retry); its list lives in PlaylistsRail
(now covered), so no change needed there.
Enable noUncheckedIndexedAccess and fix all 98 call sites it surfaced across 18
files. Every fix is behaviour-preserving — the flag flagged reads TypeScript
couldn't prove in-bounds, all of which were already guarded by a length/index check,
a findIndex result, or a non-empty invariant:
- read-once so a ternary's narrowing sticks (Feed overrides, linkify mention);
- non-null assertion AFTER an existing guard (PlayerModal/VideoEditor queue+cut-list
indexing, modules step, useUndoable stacks) with a comment stating the invariant;
- nullish fallback where undefined is a real possibility (GlassTuner slider ?? def,
ConfigPanel active group ?? [], descriptionLinks id ?? null);
- optional chaining where the entry genuinely can be absent (PlexBrowse IO entry);
- a non-empty tuple type for the RELATIVE_UNITS constant (encodes "always has [0]").
The single highest-leverage fix: PlayerModal's `active` became `queue?.[index] ??
video` (always Video), clearing 34 of the 45 errors in that file at once. Verified:
tsc/eslint/prettier clean, 56 vitest + 34 pytest + 17/17 e2e green (the e2e suite
exercises the feed/player/channel components touched here).
Prettier 3 (pinned), printWidth 100, double quotes — chosen to match the existing
hand-formatting and minimise reflow. This commit is ONLY the mechanical format pass
(`prettier --write`) plus the config/ignore/scripts, isolated so it never pollutes a
feature diff. Verified behaviour-neutral: typecheck, eslint (0 errors), and vitest
all green before and after. See .git-blame-ignore-revs — `git blame` skips this sha.
Apply the fixed-chrome pattern to the two admin pages with a horizontal
tab bar: the tabs (and Config's intro) pin in the shell's fixed band while
the tab content scrolls under them. Config's floating save bar is
unaffected. Suite 15/15, tsc + knip clean.
- player YB2: keepalive pagehide beacon (api.saveProgressBeacon) so the resume
position isn't lost on F5/close within 5s of the last checkpoint (mirrors Plex).
- player YB4: bound consecutive unplayable items in auto-advance so an
auto-advancing/loop=all queue can't spin over a run of dead videos.
- downloads B6 (client): localise structured quota/edit errors centrally in
api.req() via localizeDetail() + Intl.NumberFormat (fixes HU/DE + decimal sep);
+ 3-locale download error strings.
- channels FB1: focusChannelToken bump so re-clicking the same channel re-seeds
the search box; FB2: syncSubs invalidates feed/feed-count (set can change now).
- config CB2: reseed the ConfigPanel draft on a key-set dataVersion + explicit
post-save token, so a mid-edit refetch can't clobber an in-progress edit.
- config AB3 (UI): a blank allow_empty field stores "" instead of resetting.
- admin SB2/SC2: confirm + success toast on demo-whitelist remove and deny-invite
(+ trilingual strings); SC1: disable only the acted-on row (pendingId), not all;
SB3: pause the 1s scheduler countdown ticker while the tab is hidden.
- messages CT4: only invalidate conversations/unread when the incoming-message
count actually changed, not on every 20s poll; MB3 (client): react to the live
unread ping (onUnread → invalidate); MC3: extract e2ee installKey (setup/unlock);
CC2: hoist POLL_MS to messaging.ts; MB4: document the reload-scoped socket.
Bugs:
- ConfigPanel (CB1): unchecking a Plex library from the "all" (empty) state made
that library the ONLY selected one instead of all-except-it, because the toggle
ADDED the key to an empty list. Expand "all" to the explicit section set before
toggling. E2E-verified: uncheck from all → all-except-one.
- Scheduler (SB1): "Purge discovery" bulk-deleted search videos/videos/channels
immediately with no confirm (every AdminUsers destructive action uses useConfirm).
Wrapped in a danger useConfirm dialog (+ trilingual purgeConfirmTitle key).
E2E-verified: dialog appears, Cancel aborts.
Cleanups (behavior-neutral):
- Register LS.configTab; ConfigPanel uses it instead of the bare "siftlode.configTab".
- ConfigPanel + SettingsPanel import SaveState from ui/DraftSaveBar instead of
redeclaring the union (PrefsSaveState is now an alias).
tsc green, re-review clean, localdev boots.
PlexPlayer: when the stream session can't start, show why instead of an eternal
spinner — 404 (physical file unreachable: missing media mount / wrong path map),
501 (format needs transcoding), or a generic failure; also catch fatal hls.js
errors. ConfigPanel: render the Test-connection media_check (mount OK, or a
warning naming the unreadable local path). New plex/config i18n in en/hu/de.
- ConfigPanel 'plex' group auto-renders; adds a Test-connection button + a
library-picker (checked sections write plex_libraries, applied on Save)
- api.testPlex + PlexTestResult/PlexSection types
- i18n config namespace: plex group + 7 fields + test strings (en/hu/de);
also fills the previously-missing 'downloads' group label
Lighthouse a11y across the authenticated module pages flagged: the clickable
Siftlode logo had aria-label='Feed' (accessible name didn't include its visible
text); the shared Switch, theme swatches, sort selects and several number/range
inputs had no accessible name/label. Give Switch role='switch'+aria-checked and
an optional label (passed at every call site), aria-label the swatches, selects
(feed/playlists sort) and the settings/config/scheduler inputs, and drop the
mismatched logo aria-label so its visible text is the name. All 11 module pages
now score 100 accessibility (settings 86->100, playlists 89->100, others 92-95->100).
One Save/Discard bar with an inline (Settings card) and floating (Config page)
variant, replacing the two near-identical hand-rolled bars + their state machine.
components/ui/form.tsx replaces the per-panel copies:
- Switch — was duplicated in SettingsPanel (Switch) + ConfigPanel (Toggle) +
Sidebar (inline labeled toggle).
- Section (with a card variant) — was in SettingsPanel + Stats (plain) and
AdminUsers (glass card).
- SettingRow + HintLabel — the label+hint+control row was identical in SettingsPanel + Stats.
No visual change intended (Sidebar's toggle gains the standard knob shadow).
- Build the Google OAuth client lazily from sysconfig (DB override, env fallback) and re-register
when the credentials change, so the install wizard / admin can set them without a restart.
- New 'google' config group (google_client_id/secret, encrypted) on the Configuration page; the
token-refresh reads the creds the same way.
- Public GET /auth/config exposes google_enabled; the login page hides 'Continue with Google'
when Google OAuth isn't configured (email+password still works).
- New Users page tabs (Users & roles / Access requests / Demo) and a tab-ified Configuration
page, both via a reusable Tabs component (persisted active tab).
- Admin can suspend/unsuspend (migration 0023 adds users.is_suspended) and delete accounts
from the Users & roles tab, with guards (demo / self / last admin).
- Email notifications to the affected user: suspended (reactive, on a blocked sign-in),
reinstated, role changed, and account deleted; the approval email now carries a clickable
app link. The scheduled/manual demo reset also seeds sample channel subscriptions.
- Hide the 'unverified email' chip for Google accounts (Google attests the email).
New admin-only Users page (sidebar): Users & roles (list + promote/demote with
confirm; self/demo/last-admin guarded server-side), plus the Access requests
(Invite whitelist) and Demo whitelist+reset migrated out of Settings → Account
(same data/tables — UI relocated only). Settings → Account now holds personal
content only. ConfigPanel learns a boolean field type (toggle) for the new
allow_registration setting. api methods, new 'users' page/route/nav/header, and
EN/HU/DE strings (new users namespace + access group).
Register youtube_api_key in the sysconfig registry as a secret and resolve it from
the DB-override-or-env layer in YouTubeClient (self.db is in scope). Adds a YouTube
API group to the Configuration page (EN/HU/DE).
Google OAuth client id/secret stay env-only for now: the authlib client is
registered at module load (auth.py), and the token-refresh reads them too, so a
runtime DB override needs a lazy/re-registerable OAuth client — that belongs to the
install-wizard epic (first-boot OAuth config without restart). Admin-role-via-UI
moves to the auth-overhaul epic (user management lives there).
Add the four new groups to the page's group order and EN/HU/DE labels + field
hints for the 8 newly DB-overridable settings. The page is registry-driven, so
this is purely presentational (group order + i18n).
Per-field Save buttons were an unconventional, endpoint-driven choice. Replace
them with a single drafted Save/Discard bar (consistent with the Settings page):
edits are buffered and applied together on Save (each via the existing per-key
PATCH/DELETE), Discard reverts. Reset-to-default is a per-field affordance applied
on Save too — clearing a non-secret falls back to default; a secret (which can't
be cleared by emptying) gets a toggle that resets it on save. Backend unchanged.
New admin-only Configuration page that renders the system_config registry grouped
(Email/SMTP first), with per-field save/reset, write-only encrypted secret fields
(disabled with a hint when TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY is unset), and a Send-test-email
button. New 'config' page + sidebar nav item + header title; api methods and
EN/HU/DE strings.
