B-core-3 (2026-08-17 review): decouple two things from router modules.
1. Feed read-model → new app/feedquery.py: the pure query-building and
row-serialization layer (feed_columns, serialize, _filtered_query,
to_tsquery_str, and the keyset-pagination helpers) moves out of
routes/feed.py, which keeps only the route handlers, _feed_params, and
the request models. The three external consumers (playlists, search,
plex/browse) now import from app.feedquery instead of reaching into the
feed router.
2. admin_user sweep: 7 modules imported admin_user via app.routes.admin
(an incidental re-export of app.auth.admin_user). Repoint them all to
the definition in app.auth (audit, channels, config, quota, scheduler,
plex/admin, plex/browse); routes.admin keeps its own import for its use.
Pure code motion — no behaviour change. Full DB-lane suite 287 passed /
2 skipped; ruff clean.
- scheduler _run_changed: count a run as "changed" only on a truthy NUMERIC
value — status-string no-op dicts like {"skipped":"disabled"} (Plex off, the
default) or {"skipped":"no demo account"} were flooding the trail every interval.
- audit.record: truncate target_id to the column width (128) like summary[:255],
so an over-long target (e.g. a 128+ char demo email) can't abort the mutation
the audit row is committed alongside.
- config set/reset: redact URL userinfo (user:pass@) from logged non-secret
values — a proxy setting can embed credentials that shouldn't land in the trail.
- config set: skip the audit row when a non-secret value didn't actually change
(no-op re-save shouldn't add noise); secrets are write-only so always logged.
- audit page title (pageMeta): add the missing "audit" case so the browser tab
reads "Audit log · Siftlode" instead of falling back to "Feed".
Add a generic admin-editable config layer (epic 4a): system_config KV table
(migration 0021), a sysconfig registry that is the single source of truth for
DB-overridable keys (type/group/default/bounds/secret) + a DB-override-or-env
resolver, and admin endpoints (GET/PATCH/DELETE /api/admin/config + a test-email
probe). Secrets are Fernet-encrypted at rest (TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY); without it
they stay env-only. First group wired end-to-end: Email/SMTP — email.py now
reads host/port/user/from/password via the resolver (own session, since email
is sent from background tasks).
