The 43 react-refresh/only-export-components warnings the gate let through meant an edit to a
provider (or AnchoredPopover, Toaster, plexDetailUi, …) could not be hot-swapped: Fast Refresh
reloads a module that also exports hooks or helpers.
- Each provider's contexts, the types its hooks return and the hooks themselves live in a sibling
context module (navigationContext.ts, channelsContext.ts, …); the provider file keeps the
component. loadAccountFilters moved next to the feed filters' defaults (feedFiltersInit.ts),
following navigationInit/playlistsInit.
- Helpers that sat in component files have their own modules: welcomeMode, downloadTitle,
plexPlayable, channelSync, ui/anchoredPopoverHooks, ui/pageToolbarSlot, ui/pagerContent,
ui/toastLevels, ui/overlayOrder, ui/tableAlign, lib/plexDetail; the cells of the channel columns
and the registry's page wrappers are components files of their own (channelCells, modulePages).
- usePersistedTab, an alias of useAccountPersistedState, is gone; its callers use the original.
npm run lint is now eslint --max-warnings 0, so a warning fails the gate like an error does.
The header library-scope pill gains two entry points — Playlist and Collection —
next to All/Movies/Shows, a second way into each area (the rail filter is the
other). Picking Playlist shows a grid of the user's playlists (a tile opens that
playlist's view); Collection shows a searchable grid of collections (a tile
filters the title grid by that collection). Pure front-end — reuses the existing
plexPlaylists / plexCollections(union) list endpoints.
Two new top-level sub-views (`playlists` / `collections`, bookmarkable as
?v=playlists / ?v=collections) rendered by PlexBrowse via the new plexBrowseLists
surfaces (hue-tiled like the Discover genre tiles). The PlexViewBridge now carries
the view `kind`; PlexScopeToggle is a 5-way that derives its active segment from
it (browse-mode when in one, else scope) and drives the two views through the
bridge — picking a scope from a browse mode returns to the title grid. The
Discover/Browse toggle hides in these modes; Backspace + the search→grid flip
cover them.
Tests: PlexScopeToggle (5-way + browse-mode drive/active), plexSubUrl round-trip
for the two new views. Gate: tsc/lint/knip/prettier + 402 vitest.
- Add PlexScopeToggle.dom.test.tsx (renders the three scopes, current one
pressed, click writes scope back to the provider) and
usePlexActiveFilters.dom.test.tsx (emits filter + watch-state chips but never
a sort chip, even with a non-default sort active) — the S3 relocation was
untested.
- Narrow-width header: make the header row flex-wrap so the scope toggle drops
to a second line instead of crowding the flex-1 search box to zero width, and
let the field-scope pill shrink/truncate. Desktop stays a single line
(verified: 1280px header unchanged, search 237px, no wrap).
The removed one-click sort-reset chip is intended (sort is an always-visible
control now, like the Feed) — no change. FE suite 174 green; typecheck + eslint
clean.
