Three low-severity findings from the /code-review high self-pass:
- Plex duration: the "Any" chip no longer false-highlights when durationMin/Max
hold a set-but-off-bucket value (stale/version-skew state) — it selects
nothing then, matching the pre-sweep behaviour, instead of colliding on the
empty-string sentinel.
- FilterChipGroup: count badge now guards on count > 0 (was `!= null`), matching
the Tabs badge so a future count:0 can't render a stray "0" pill.
- Extract the shared CountBadge component; Tabs and FilterChipGroup now render
the count-badge token from one source (was two near-identical inline spans).
gate green (tsc/eslint-0/vitest 136/knip/prettier). Duration self-E2E'd:
bucket select + Any toggle intact. Branch not merged.
Tabs gains an `orientation` prop (+ optional per-tab `icon`/`testId`) so the
two hand-rolled NAV tab-sets that duplicated its active treatment now use it:
- SettingsPanel vertical rail (appearance/notifications/account) -> vertical
Tabs with icons; settings-tab-* testIds preserved
- Stats overview/system tabs -> Tabs (rounded-full+border -> the rounded-lg
tab canonical, per the agreed tab shape)
The underline ChannelPage tabs and the icon NavSidebar rail are intentionally
left as distinct idioms. Self-E2E'd: settings rail switches + persists with
icons, stats tabs toggle. gate green (tsc/eslint-0/vitest 136/knip/prettier).
Branch not merged.
Retire the hand-rolled channel-manager view pills for the shared <Tabs> component (given an
optional className so it embeds in the justify-between header without the default mb-4), and
back view + layout on usePersistedTab instead of manual getAccountRaw/setAccountRaw useState.
That subsumes the account-pin re-hydrate (usePersistedTab now re-reads on the pin), so
ChannelsProvider's bespoke markManagerDirty/useAccountRehydrate is gone; setView keeps the
history-tab logic (_chTab pushState + popstate) layered on the stable raw setter, and
useAccountPersistedState's setter is now memoized so that stable action holds.
Per the user's call, unify every channel-manager pill on the rounded-lg idiom: the view tabs
via <Tabs>, the sync chips and tag chips + the "manage tags" affordance from rounded-full to
rounded-lg — no more odd-one-out rounded-full.
gate-green: tsc + vitest 120 + eslint-0 + knip + prettier. Self-E2E'd: tab switch, browser
Back across tabs (Blocked->Hidden->Subscriptions with localStorage in sync), and a fresh tab
restoring view=hidden on the FIRST load; zero console errors.
The ~14 hand-rolled "this is the selected/current/active one" idioms each
repeated the same `sel ? "bg-accent text-accent-fg border-accent" : "…"` inline
ternary, which had drifted. Three attribute-driven recipes in @layer components
now own that paint, keyed on the ARIA the control already carries: .pill
(aria-pressed segments/toggles), .is-current (aria-current nav/list items), and
.chip / .chip-solid (tag & filter tokens). The JSX just toggles the ARIA; the CSS
paints, so one control's selected look can't diverge from the next's. No
focus-visible in the recipes — the @layer base rule already rings every button/a.
Migrated 15 sites (Feed show/content, Channels tag filter, Sidebar or-and +
scope, PlexSidebar match, Tabs, SettingsPanel tab-rail, PlexPlaylistView layout
[soft], NavSidebar nav + settings, ActiveFilterChips, PlexSidebar RemovableChip,
ChannelTags, ChannelPicker). Deliberately left: PlexSidebar facet Chip and
PlexPlaylistView already covered; SavedViews row (paint split across two
elements), the scheme swatch (border-only on a coloured swatch), and
ChannelPicker's option rows (text-only selection) — noted for a follow-up.
The ~124 px-frozen text-[Npx] labels didn't track the Settings font-scale slider
while their rem-sized neighbours did. Add text-2xs (0.6875rem) / text-3xs
(0.625rem) font-size-ONLY tokens (no paired line-height -> matches the arbitrary
they replace, zero vertical-rhythm shift) and codemod every text-[Npx] to a rem
class (rare 8/9/12/13px -> rem arbitraries).
Also: --hdr-h 68px -> 4.25rem so header content clears the rem-sized pills at
scale 1.3 instead of sliding under; NavSidebar/SidePanel slot widths + their
icon/badge px sizes go rem so the rails keep pace with their (now-scaling)
labels; a w-24/h-[54px] thumb -> h-13.5 to preserve 16:9 at scale. Media
thumbnails, page-width caps and fixed container widths deliberately stay px.
Verified via getComputedStyle at scale 1.06/1.3: text-2xs 11.66->14.3px, header
clearance 72->88px, nav slot 246->302px — all scale proportionally.
Multi-account-in-one-browser (esp. with per-tab accounts) leaked one account's client state
into another via shared localStorage keys. Scope every account-specific key by the tab's active
account (accountKey/readAccount/writeAccount/useAccountPersistedState helpers), so nothing bleeds
across accounts or tabs:
- Real leaks: selected playlist, client notification history + settings, onboarding-dismissed.
- UI position: feed page, channel-manager filter/view + tables, playlist sort, Settings/Stats/
Users/Config tabs.
- Previously DB-adopted caches (theme, hints, performance mode, sidebar layout, nav/filter
collapse) — now the cache is per-account too, so there's no flash of the other account's value
on login.
Kept intentionally global: siftlode.lang (needed pre-login on the Welcome page; the DB pref still
scopes it per-account after sign-in) and siftlode.seenVersion (a per-browser 'new version' banner).
E2EE private keys (IndexedDB) and the chat-dock key were already per-user.
- errorDialog + hints now use createStore (drop their bespoke listener arrays).
- theme/sidebarLayout/notifications/App filters/Playlists plSort use readMerged/
readJSON/writeJSON instead of inline try/JSON.parse/catch.
- Stats, SettingsPanel and App's channel filter/view tabs use usePersistedState
(the 3 sites that reinvented usePersistedTab inline).
- Every siftlode.* key now sourced from the LS registry (no scattered literals).
- New Users page tabs (Users & roles / Access requests / Demo) and a tab-ified Configuration
page, both via a reusable Tabs component (persisted active tab).
- Admin can suspend/unsuspend (migration 0023 adds users.is_suspended) and delete accounts
from the Users & roles tab, with guards (demo / self / last admin).
- Email notifications to the affected user: suspended (reactive, on a blocked sign-in),
reinstated, role changed, and account deleted; the approval email now carries a clickable
app link. The scheduled/manual demo reset also seeds sample channel subscriptions.
- Hide the 'unverified email' chip for Google accounts (Google attests the email).
